Adoption

We screen our potential adopters through a completed adoption application, phone or in-person interview and a home visit.  GPA\East Texas adopts to the Arklatex area.  Adoption outside of our area will be on a case-by-case basis.  Our adoption fee of $200 covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, martingale collar and leash, greyhound muzzle and an ongoing support system from our volunteers.

How you can help

If you are unable to adopt a greyhound, you can still help by making a tax-deductible donation to help us cover medical, supply and food expenses, etc.  Please make checks payable to Greyhound Pets of America/East Texas and mail to  P.O. Box 7485, Texarkana, TX 75505.
